Early Bird Pool Margin Update

Hi Delegator,

As mentioned in last epochs pledge update IOHK are changing the saturation level to 64 million.

To maintain high rewards we've recommended delegates to switch to our new pool VS1, however only a handful of people have migrated while stake for BIRD pool continues to grow.

As a temporary measure we are increasing the margin for BIRD pool from 0% to 1% while stake remains above 64m, as soon as we get below this level the pool will revert back to 0%.

The margin update for BIRD will be active for epoch 231 which starts on the 22nd of November. The impact to rewards from this change will be negligible but hopefully it will encourage more delegates to act.

Please switch to VS1 pool, it's been deployed on the same reliable infrastructure and with the same lowest possible fees that made BIRD one of the most profitable pools in the ecosystem.
